Sheila C is a singer/songwriter, sometime bassist, who has been singing since as long as she was able to produce sound. No stranger to a stage, she began her career writing songs and recording as part of a funk trio in Daytona Bch. Florida which led to her first job in a band out of Orlando, Florida and a career out on the road, touring from Florida to Texas. Eventually leading to the NJ/NYC area, where she wrote and recorded within the Underground dance music arena in NYC. She spent time playing with the band behind the Moments/Ray, Goodman and Brown for a time, learning definitive stage and vocal chops from the late guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Walter Morris and eventually after a hiatus to raise a family, landed here in Columbia and is back on stage performing with JSK, the band she formed with her partner and drummer Pete Sepulveda.
